Hire a Supabase DeveloperHire a Supabase developer for RLS, auth and edge functions
App369 is one Supabase developer, Simon Dziak, who checks and fixes existing Supabase apps. A Launch Check of the whole app is $450 in 3 business days, with each problem ranked and a fixed quote to fix the worst. One bug you can name in a React, Vue, Flutter or Node.js app on Supabase starts with a $450 diagnosis in 3 business days.

How do you check a Supabase app before hiring anyone?
Supabase’s docs say a secret key bypasses every Row Level Security policy, and that RLS should be on for every table in an exposed schema. These 3 checks need your code and the SQL editor.
| Check | Run this | A pass looks like |
|---|---|---|
| Is a secret or service_role key outside your server code? | grep -rniE "service_role|sb_secret_|eyJ[A-Za-z0-9_-]{20,}" . --exclude-dir=node_modules --exclude-dir=.git | Matches only in server code, such as Edge Functions or API routes, that read the key from an environment variable; the name SUPABASE_SERVICE_ROLE_KEY there is fine. A key in front-end code, a mobile app or a committed .env file means anyone can bypass RLS: rotate it in your dashboard, then move it. Long strings starting eyJ are tokens; a legacy secret key hides its role inside one, so read each hit. |
| Is RLS off on any table? | select tablename from pg_tables where schemaname = 'public' and not rowsecurity; | No rows. Any table listed is readable and writable through the API by any role with a grant on it, which on most projects includes the public key. The RLS fix page has two more checks for policies that allow everyone. |
| Which storage buckets are public? | select id from storage.buckets where public; | Only buckets meant for anyone to see, such as avatars or marketing images. Supabase says public buckets skip access control for reading files, so anyone with a file’s link can open it. |
What gets fixed
What does a Supabase developer fix?
01
Row Level Security that leaks data
Tables with RLS off, policies that allow everyone, and policies that let one user read another’s rows, found with SQL and fixed in a migration.
Supabase RLS fix before you launchRLS enabled, data still exposed02
Keys in the wrong place
A secret or service_role key in front-end code or a shipped app, moved to the server, with you rotating the key in your dashboard, so nothing in the browser can bypass RLS.
Service role key exposed03
Sign-in that breaks
Sessions lost on refresh, email links pointing at localhost, users logged out by refresh tokens, and OAuth providers that won’t connect.
Session lost on refreshAuth email links go to localhost04
Edge Functions that fail
CORS errors, non-2xx responses and timeouts traced to their cause and fixed in the function’s code.
Edge Function CORS errorEdge Function non-2xx status code05
Queries, migrations and connections
Empty results under RLS, failed db push migrations and too many connections, fixed without touching your production data.

Codementor: $8 to $40 per 15 minutes
The ten Supabase experts listed on Codementor’s page, read the same day, charged $8 to $40 per 15 minutes.
App369: $450 for a whole-app check
One fixed price for a written report, paid before it starts: each problem rated critical to low, with where it is and how it was confirmed, in 3 business days. At Arc’s typical $60 to $100 an hour, $450 buys about 4.5 to 7.5 hours.

FAQ
Questions before you start
How much does it cost to hire a Supabase developer?
App369 publishes fixed prices: a Launch Check of the whole app is $450 in 3 business days, and one named bug in a React, Vue, Flutter or Node.js app is an App Fix Ticket, a $450 diagnosis credited toward the $1,200 fix. Arc’s Supabase page says freelance Supabase developers typically charge $60 to $100+ an hour.
What do I need to hand over?
A repo invite, a test login and a schema export with no user data. Simon never needs your production keys, your secret key or your Supabase password.
Will you touch my production data?
No. Fixes ship as pull requests and SQL migrations you review and apply yourself.
What isn’t included?
New features or full rewrites, App Store approval guarantees, changes to your production data, your Supabase, Firebase, Stripe or hosting bills, and calls, except paid consultations ($100 per 15 minutes, paid upfront).
Who does the work?
Simon Dziak, who founded App369, does the work himself, in writing by email. His own product, Workspace369, runs on Firebase rather than Supabase; on Supabase apps the same access checks are done with Postgres row-level security, grants and policies.
