Pay $750 & start

Full refund if Simon can’t take it on once he sees your project, or if you cancel before work starts.

After you pay

Simon emails you within one business day to confirm and send the access checklist. You can also send it straight away to contact@app369.com. What the work needs:

  • Your Firebase or Google Cloud project IDs
  • Whether you want actual spend checked (needs Billing Account Viewer)

You then get the Google account to grant temporary read-only roles to. Delivery takes 5 business days after access is granted.

Full refund if Simon can’t take it on once he sees your project, or if you cancel before work starts.

Not sure it fits? See who it fits, or email a question about this offer; we reply by email, usually within one business day.

This fits when

  • Your Firebase or Google Cloud bill grew faster than your users
  • You have Cloud Functions or Cloud Run services with minimum instances set
  • Firestore reads look high and you’re not sure which screen causes them
  • Logging, Secret Manager or AI usage is a line item you can’t explain

Errors this fixes

Each page explains the error from the vendor’s own docs, with what to try first.

How it works

  1. Pay and send project IDs

You then get the Google account to grant temporary read-only roles: Viewer and Monitoring Viewer, plus Billing Account Viewer if you want actual spend checked.

  2. Measure every service

Each Cloud Run service and Cloud Function is priced from measured usage and Google’s list prices, including minimum instances, schedules, triggers and retries.

  3. Rank the savings

Every saving is ranked by dollars a month, user-visible risk and how to roll it back.

  4. Hand over the commands

A report, a CSV of every service, and the exact gcloud and firebase commands to apply each saving yourself.

What the savings table looks like

One section of a sample report: minimum instances on an example project with three 2nd gen functions, priced with the free min instances calculator and ranked the way the audit ranks every saving.

  1. nightlyReport

    Minimum instances
    1 (2 vCPU, 2 GiB)
    Idle cost a month
    $26.28
    Change
    Set to 0
    Saving a month
    $26.28
    Risk to users
None: no user waits on a nightly job
    Roll back
gcloud run services update nightlyreport --min 1
  2. stripeWebhook

    Minimum instances
    2 (1 vCPU, 512 MiB)
    Idle cost a month
    $19.71
    Change
    Set to 0
    Saving a month
    $19.71
    Risk to users
    Low: Stripe retries webhook deliveries
    Roll back
gcloud run services update stripewebhook --min 2
  3. api

    Minimum instances
    1 (1 vCPU, 512 MiB)
    Idle cost a month
    $9.86
    Change
    Keep
    Saving a month
    $0
    Risk to users
Users wait on it at sign-in and checkout
    Roll back
    No change

Sample only: an example project, not a client’s. Idle costs use request-based billing at Google’s us-central1 list prices (checked October 12, 2026) and leave out the free tier and discounts. A real audit measures every service, including Firestore, Storage, logging and Secret Manager, and lists the exact command for each saving, plus the minInstances change in your code so the next deploy keeps it.
