Short answer

Stripe Billing Fix and Setup sets up or fixes Stripe subscriptions in your codebase: up to 3 plans, Checkout, a webhook handler, the customer portal and failed-payment handling, tested in Stripe test mode before you switch to live. It costs $950 and takes 5 business days from repo access and a test-mode key. It fits apps adding or repairing subscriptions.

Stripe Billing Fix and Setup

Subscriptions that don’t renew right, webhooks that fail quietly, or no way for customers to change plans. Stripe billing set up or fixed in your codebase, and every flow tested in Stripe test mode.

$950
fixed price, 5 business days

You get

  • Products and prices for up to 3 plans, monthly or yearly
  • Sign-up through Stripe Checkout or the Payment Element
  • A webhook handler for the subscription lifecycle (created, updated, payment failed, cancelled) with signature checks and no double-processing
  • The Stripe customer portal for plan changes, card updates and cancellations
  • Failed-payment handling: retries and emails switched on, and clear access rules for past-due accounts
  • Every flow run in test mode with test clocks, delivered as a pull request with notes
  • One revision round

Delivery

5 business days after repo access and a test-mode restricted key arrive.

Pay $950 & start

Full refund if Simon can’t take it on once he sees your project, or if you cancel before work starts.

After you pay

Simon emails you within one business day to confirm and send the access checklist. You can also send it straight away to contact@app369.com. What the work needs:

  • Access to the repository
  • Your plans and prices, and what is broken today (if anything)
  • A test-mode restricted key for your Stripe account

Delivery takes 5 business days from repo and test-mode access. Live mode is never touched.

Full refund if Simon can’t take it on once he sees your project, or if you cancel before work starts.

Your code stays private: it is never shared or reused, and Simon deletes his copy at delivery. An NDA is fine; send yours with the access.

This fits when

  • You are launching paid plans and want billing right the first time
  • Webhook events fail, arrive twice or are ignored
  • Customers email you to change plans or update cards
  • Past-due customers keep full access
  • Nobody on the team is sure what happens when a renewal fails

Errors this fixes

Each page explains the error from the vendor’s own docs, with what to try first.

How it works

  1. Pay and share access

Repo access, your plans and prices, and a test-mode restricted key. No live keys are needed.

  2. Map the billing flows

Sign-up, upgrade, downgrade, card update, failed renewal and cancellation, written down with what your app should do at each step.

  3. Build or fix

Checkout, the webhook handler with signature checks and no double-processing, the customer portal and failed-payment rules.

  4. Test and hand over

Each flow is run in test mode with test clocks, then delivered as a pull request with notes. You switch to live keys yourself.

What the billing flow map looks like

Step 2 of this offer, filled in for an example app with two monthly plans. The Stripe events come from Stripe’s subscription webhooks guide, and the duplicate-event and signature rows from its general webhooks guide (both checked October 23, 2026); what the app does in each row is this example app’s choice. The build then makes the code follow the map, and each row is run in test mode.

  1. Renewal paid

    Stripe event
    invoice.paid
    What the app does
Fetches the subscription, confirms its status is active, then extends access
    How it is tested
A test clock moved past the renewal date
  2. Renewal fails

    Stripe event
    invoice.payment_failed
    What the app does
Emails the customer a link to update their card; access follows your past-due rule
    How it is tested
A test clock renewal with a test card that declines
  3. Plan change

    Stripe event
    customer.subscription.updated
    What the app does
Sets the plan in your database from the subscription’s current price
    How it is tested
An upgrade and a downgrade in the customer portal
  4. Subscription ends

    Stripe event
    customer.subscription.deleted
    What the app does
    Removes access
    How it is tested
A cancellation in the customer portal, then the test clock moved to the end of the period
  5. Same event delivered twice

    Stripe event
    Any
    What the app does
Logs each event ID and skips one it has already processed
    How it is tested
    The same event sent twice
  6. Request not from Stripe

    Stripe event
    Any
    What the app does
Rejects it unless the Stripe-Signature header checks out against the endpoint secret
    How it is tested
    An unsigned request

Sample only: an example app, not a client’s billing. A real map uses your plans and prices, and your rules, such as how long a past-due customer keeps access, which you decide.
