Hire a Lovable DeveloperHire a Lovable developer without an open-ended hourly bill

Start with a $450 Launch Check. In 3 business days you get a written report on your whole Lovable app, every problem rated by severity, with a fixed price to fix the worst ones. The Rescue Sprint that fixes them is $1,950, with the $450 credited. If it’s one bug you can already name, an App Fix Ticket covers just that.

Do you need a developer?

When Lovable can fix it, and when to bring in a developer

  • 01

    Lovable can usually handle it

Layout, copy, a new page or a form field: describe the change in the chat. If something breaks, Lovable’s debugging guide says to paste the exact console error into the chat first.

Sign-in and who can see what

Users who see each other’s data, or sign-in that loops. Asking the AI to make a permissions error go away can switch off the very check that protects your data.

    Taking real money

Stripe takes the payment but the account stays locked, or checkout works in test mode and fails live. Webhooks need to be verified and tested before real customers pay.

A secret key in the browser

A Supabase service_role key or a Stripe secret key in front-end code skips every rule you set. It has to be replaced, and the leak closed, without breaking the app.

The App Store or your own hosting

Wrapping the app for the App Store, or moving it to your own host or Supabase project, brings build settings, environment variables and review rules the builder doesn’t handle.

A bug that comes back after every fix

When each prompt fixes one thing and breaks another, a developer reads the code, finds the cause and adds a test so the fix stays fixed.

Hiring anyone

What to ask any developer before you hire

These apply whoever you hire, App369 included. Good answers are specific and in writing.

  • Will you price it before you start?

A fixed price for a written scope protects you from an open-ended hourly bill on code neither of you wrote.

  • What will you check first?

Sign-in, who can read which data, keys in the front end and payments should be checked before anything new is added.

  • How will I get the changes?

Ask for pull requests to your own GitHub repo, so you own the code and can see every change before it goes live.

  • Can I keep building in Lovable afterwards?

Lovable syncs with one GitHub branch, and changes pushed there come back into your project. Ask the developer to work through that branch so your next prompt builds on the fix.

Questions

Before you start

How much does it cost to hire a Lovable developer?

A published estimate puts freelance Lovable developers at $50 to $150 an hour, or $5,000 to $15,000 for a defined project (see Sources below). App369 publishes fixed prices instead: the Launch Check is $450, the Rescue Sprint that fixes up to 5 critical or high findings is $1,950 with the $450 credited, and an App Fix Ticket for one bug starts at $450.

Do I need a developer, or can Lovable fix it?

Try Lovable first for anything about how the app looks or a feature you can describe. Bring in a developer once real users or real money are involved: sign-in, who can see which data, payments, keys, or a bug that comes back every time the AI fixes it.

What does the Launch Check report look like?

The Launch Check is a written check of your whole app. Each issue found is rated critical, high, medium or low, with where it is and how it was confirmed, plus a fixed price to fix the worst problems (the Rescue Sprint). No issues worth fixing, no charge. If the Launch Check finds nothing rated medium or higher, Simon refunds the full $450. You keep the report either way.

What do I need to hand over?

Read-only access is enough to start: an invite to the GitHub repo your Lovable project syncs with, or a zipped export, a test login, and your database structure, meaning the supabase/migrations folder or a schema export with no user data.

Will you move my app off Lovable?

Not unless you ask. Fixes come as pull requests to the branch your Lovable project syncs with, so your next prompt builds on them instead of undoing them.

Who does the work?

Simon Dziak, who founded App369, does the work himself. Everything happens in writing by email, with fixes delivered as pull requests you review.
