Hire a Replit DeveloperHire a Replit developer before the next publish touches production
A Replit app has a development database and, once published, a production one, and publishing is where they meet. A $450 Launch Check reads the whole app and, in 3 business days, reports every problem by severity with a fixed price to fix the worst. The Rescue Sprint for those is $1,950, with the $450 credited; a single bug is an App Fix Ticket from $450.

Where Replit apps break
The risky moments in a Replit app, from Replit’s own docs
01
Publishing changes the live database
Every Replit app works with two databases. Agent can’t modify the production one, but when you publish, the structure changes Agent made in development are applied to production. That publish is the moment to have someone check.
Rescuing a Replit app02
Schema changes that break live code
Replit lists the changes that need care: removing columns the code still uses, changing column types, adding required fields without defaults, and renaming tables or columns. A developer checks what’s waiting to publish against the code before it goes live.
03
A rollback won’t restore live data
Checkpoints save files and database contents, but by default a rollback doesn’t change the database, and Replit says it won’t restore production automatically. That takes a point-in-time restore, which you run in your own account.
Replit lost files or data: the fix04
A leaked connection string
If the production connection string ended up in code, a log or a chat, Replit says to regenerate the production database credentials. You do that in your account; the report says where it leaked and what to update.
05
Test data in the live app
Replit warns that development data can include test accounts, sample records or unfinished content. Copy it into production only if it’s safe for real users to see.
06
Keys, sign-in and payments
Keys shipped to the browser, one user seeing another’s data, a payment that doesn’t unlock the account: the problems any AI-built app can have, checked in the Launch Check.

Questions that matter for a Replit app
Whoever you hire, App369 included, these answers should come in writing.
What will you check before the next publish?
Ask for a review of the schema changes waiting in development against the code that reads and writes those tables.
What if production data goes wrong?
A good answer names the point-in-time restore and who runs it, not a checkpoint rollback.
Where will the changes go?
Into a GitHub or GitLab repository you own, so you can read each change before it goes anywhere near your published app.
Who holds the credentials?
You do. Nobody you hire should need your production connection string sent by chat or email.

Questions
Before you start
How much does it cost to hire a Replit developer?
App369’s prices are fixed and published: $450 for the Launch Check, $1,950 for the Rescue Sprint that fixes up to 5 critical or high findings (with the $450 credited), and from $450 for an App Fix Ticket covering one bug.
Can Replit Agent fix it, or do I need a developer?
Agent works on the development copy and can’t change the production database directly. For features and layout, keep prompting. Bring someone in before a publish that changes the schema, after data goes wrong in production, or when a fix keeps coming undone.
What does the Launch Check report look like?
The Launch Check is a written check of your whole app. Each issue found is rated critical, high, medium or low, with where it is and how it was confirmed, plus a fixed price to fix the worst problems (the Rescue Sprint). No issues worth fixing, no charge. If the Launch Check finds nothing rated medium or higher, Simon refunds the full $450. You keep the report either way.
What do I need to hand over?
Read access to the GitHub or GitLab repository that holds your app’s code (Replit can connect both), a test login, and any schema changes you know are waiting to publish. Not your production credentials: those stay with you.
Will you publish the app for me?
No. Fixes come back as changes in your repository; you review them, bring them into Replit and publish yourself.
Who does the work?
Simon Dziak, who founded App369, does the work himself, in writing by email.
