Fixed-price help, using our standard offersFirebase Studio shuts down March 22, 2027. Keep your app working after the move.
Google’s Move now tool handles the export. Simon checks the moved app’s code, Firebase rules and deploy setup, and fixes the worst problems as pull requests you own, at a fixed price.
Full refund if Simon can’t take it on once he sees your project, or if you cancel before work starts.
No issues worth fixing, no charge. If the Launch Check finds nothing rated medium or higher, Simon refunds the full $450. You keep the report either way.

What the shutdown changes
- What ends
- The Studio workspace. Google says remaining data is permanently deleted and can’t be recovered.
- What keeps running
- Google says Cloud Firestore, Authentication and App Hosting are not affected.
- Who must act
- Only the workspace’s creator can use Move now, so you start the move. We work from the repo.
From Google’s guide
Where the move goes wrong
Google’s guide lists six places a move goes wrong. Four need a setting changed in your own console or a download from your workspace, which stay with you. The Launch Check report says what to change.
- Gemini API key
- You change this
- If you published to App Hosting from Firebase Studio, you set your Gemini API key by hand in the Firebase console after a move to AI Studio.
- Google Sign-In
- You change this
- If your app uses Google Sign-In, the new AI Studio app’s domain must be added to Authorized domains.
- Custom domains
- You change this
- Publishing from AI Studio to Cloud Run gives a new *.run.app URL. Mapping a custom domain can take up to 24 hours and may cause downtime. GitHub sync to App Hosting avoids it.
- Shared workspaces
- Checked in your code
- A manual export still points at the original owner’s Firebase project and keys.
- Chat history
- You change this
- It isn’t in the zip. Download it separately before the shutdown.
- Other stacks
- Checked in your code
- The CLI export is optimized for Next.js, Flutter and Angular. For other workspaces, the move to Antigravity may not update all code artifacts.
Doing the move yourself? The step-by-step Firebase Studio migration guide covers it, and the free Firebase shutdown checker flags the other Firebase retirements in your code.

Pick by what you need
The Launch Check fits apps with a React, Next.js or Vite front end on Firebase or Supabase. Built your Studio app by hand, from a template or an imported repo? Then it isn’t an AI-built app, and the App Fix Ticket or the Rules Audit fits better. On another stack, such as Angular, or not sure? Check fit by email before you pay.

Questions
Questions before you pay
- Will my live app stop on March 22?
- Google says core Firebase services keep working. What goes away is the Studio workspace and anything still in it.
- AI Studio or Antigravity?
- Google suggests AI Studio for browser prototyping and Antigravity for code-first work. You can also export and host elsewhere. Compare the options in the migration guide
- Do you do the move for me?
- No. Only the workspace’s creator can use Move now, and console, domain and download steps stay with you, because access is read-only. Simon works from the moved repo: he checks it and fixes the code, rules and deploy setup as pull requests you deploy.
- Do I need a call?
- No. Ask by email at contact@app369.com, and we usually reply within one business day.
