Canonical: https://app369.com/service/hire-stripe-developer/

App369 is one Stripe developer, Simon Dziak, who sets up or fixes Stripe billing in your own codebase. Stripe Billing Fix and Setup is $950, delivered 5 business days after repo access arrives and tested in Stripe test mode. One Stripe bug you can name is an App Fix Ticket: a $450 diagnosis, credited toward the $1,200 fix.

Check it yourself

## **How do you check a Stripe integration before hiring anyone?**

Stripe’s own docs warn that without signature verification an attacker could send fake webhook events to your endpoint, and that the same event can arrive more than once. These 3 checks need only your code.

| **Check** | **Run this** | **A pass looks like** |
| --- | --- | --- |
| **Does the webhook check Stripe’s signature?** | `grep -rnE "constructEvent\|construct_event\|parseEventNotification\|parse_event_notification\|Stripe-Signature" . --exclude-dir=node_modules --exclude-dir=.git` | A match inside your own webhook route, called on the raw request body with the whsec_ signing secret. No match in your code means the route may accept fake events: look for another verification call before you rely on it. |
| **Does it skip events it has already handled?** | `grep -rnE "(evt\|event\|stripeEvent)(\.id\|\[.id.\])\|event_id" . --exclude-dir=node_modules --exclude-dir=.git` | A match only starts the check: the handler should store each event ID it processes and return early on a repeat, so a retried event can’t grant access or send an email twice. Stripe adds that two separate events can describe the same change, so key on the object ID and event type as well. |
| **Is a secret or restricted key anywhere it shouldn’t be?** | `grep -rnE "[sr]k_(live\|test)_[A-Za-z0-9]+" . --exclude-dir=node_modules --exclude-dir=.git --exclude-dir=dist` | No matches in committed code. A hit in a local .env file is fine if that file is never committed. Only the publishable pk_ key is safe in front-end code. |

What gets built

## **What does a Stripe developer set up?**

- 01 ### **Plans and prices** Products and prices for up to 3 plans, monthly or yearly, created in your Stripe account and referenced from your code.
- 02 ### **Checkout or the Payment Element** Sign-up through Stripe Checkout or the Payment Element, so card details go to Stripe and never touch your server. [**Apple Pay or Google Pay not showing**](https://app369.com/fix/stripe-apple-pay-google-pay-not-showing/)
- 03 ### **A webhook handler that can be trusted** One handler for the subscription lifecycle (created, updated, payment failed, cancelled) that checks Stripe’s signature and processes each event once. [**Webhook signature verification failed**](https://app369.com/fix/stripe-webhook-signature-verification-failed/) [**Webhook returns 200, database not updated**](https://app369.com/fix/stripe-webhook-200-but-database-not-updated/) [**Paid but account not upgraded**](https://app369.com/fix/stripe-paid-but-account-not-upgraded/)
- 04 ### **The customer portal** Stripe’s hosted portal for plan changes, card updates and cancellations, so customers manage billing without emailing you. [**Customer portal not working**](https://app369.com/fix/stripe-customer-portal-not-working/)
- 05 ### **Failed payments and access** Retries and emails switched on in Stripe, and clear rules in the app for what a past-due or cancelled account can still open. [**Cancelled subscription keeps access**](https://app369.com/fix/stripe-subscription-canceled-access-wrong/) [**Subscription incomplete, requires action**](https://app369.com/fix/stripe-subscription-incomplete-requires-action/)
- 06 ### **Tested before you go live** Every flow run in test mode with test clocks, which advance simulated time to show renewals, trials and failed payments without waiting a month. [**Works in test mode, not live**](https://app369.com/fix/stripe-works-in-test-mode-not-live/)
